Remote Hearing Aid Programming

Designed to support rest homes and those where in-person contact is not possible. We can now program many hearing aids from the clinic on our computers, while your resident stays in their room!
This is a very exciting new technical development and one that means nobody needs to suffer with poor hearing at this difficult time. Hearing is a crucial sense in the elderly but even more so in time of physical isolation. Hearing Consultants are here to help.
This means we can offer your residents a range of services with contact-less audiology care*
Hearing Consultants Provide:
- Insurance replacement hearing aids,
- New hearing aid fittings,
- The hearing aids can be programmed using previous setting or by using our Remote Care Bluetooth software,
- Collection of hearing aids for repairs from your front door then courier them back all ready to go,
- All consumables; batteries, tubing domes and cleaning tools directly by courier.
* Your cell phone must meet certain minimum specifications. Ask us about compatible devices.
Hygiene Protocols
Hearing Consultant’s Hygiene protocol is in accordance with both the NZ Government and WHO Covid-19 criteria.
All surfaces are wiped, hand sanitizer used and regular hand washing. Also PPE is worn.
